Reimagining Resilience: Arts & Wellbeing Retreat — 2026 Collective
3‑Module Wellbeing Retreat & Leadership Camp
Module 1: “The Values of the Artists & Their (Arts)works” & “What Are Arts Spaces?”
(Primary Language: Khmer)
Co‑organized by Enterprise Vision Academy and Daraism & Artists, this retreat is inspired by The Cambodian Living Arts’ Fellowship Program and Azahar Foundation’s Peace Camps.
Foundation of Module 1
The opening module lays the groundwork by exploring why artists, their creations, and arts management matter. It asks: What values guide our daily practices? Why do we do what we do? Participants will learn to recognize, internalize, and appreciate these values—understanding how artistic contributions enrich society and humanity.
By grounding themselves in this knowledge, participants prepare for the later modules, which focus on organizational leadership, sales, marketing, arts markets, and sustainability.
Learning Focus
• The role of values in artistic practice
• The meaning and importance of arts spaces
• How values and spaces shape cultural leadership in Cambodia
Integrated Program Elements
• Daily wellbeing sessions: meditation and yoga led by a Buddhist monk and certified yoga teacher
• Master classes: with HUOT Dara, Helene Nareine, and other experts
• Experiential learning: site visits, interactive discussions, workshops, talks, and performances
• Collaborative engagement: peer learning circles and group projects
Culmination
The module concludes with an Open Forum, creating space for wider dialogue, collective reflection, and shared impact
Inspired by Cambodian Living Arts’ Fellowship Program and Azahar Foundation’s Peace Camp, this first module of our retreat—spanning two afternoons and two mornings—is designed for Cambodia’s cultural catalysts, senior artists, and curious minds passionate about the cultural and creative industries. Over this rhythm of mornings and afternoons, participants will pause, reflect, and recalibrate through meditation‑center practices, balancing intensive growth with intentional stillness. Conducted primarily in Khmer, the retreat bridges professional leadership with personal wellbeing, closing each day with restorative practices.
Expected Outcomes
• Enhanced leadership capacities tailored to the Cambodian arts context
• Increased awareness and practice of wellbeing among arts professionals
• Strengthened networks and collaborations within the Cambodian arts community
• A practical toolbox of skills, concepts, and strategies for sustainable development
